The starting point of designing a new
espresso machine begins with an idea, a
concept which absorbs inspiration from
various sources. The design relates
directly to the concept and nature of
the specific espresso bar it is about to
be located as well as to the desired
impact the client wishes to achieve.
The first stage is taking this idea and
sketching it on a white paper,
emphasizing the shape, lines, materials
and color scheme of the future design.
Once the design shape and details have
been crystallized, the sketch is being
translated to an accurate model using a
computer aided design (CAD) process.
From the planning table, the work is
taken to production, where the parts are
being manufactured using advanced
technologies and processes such as laser
precision cutting, computerized
metalwork, custom metal molds for
special details production and oven
epoxy painting. All in order to achieve
maximum accuracy and top finish quality
of product.
The product is assembled and carefully
inspected by skilful craftsmen, and than
tested and calibrated according to the
clients' demands and needs.
Altogether, this exciting process is a
teamwork ensemble of creative designers,
skilful engineers and craftsmen and
working as one to the sole purpose of
making this piece of art. |
